We would like to share some of our custom menus and photographs... We enjoy the challenge of preparing meals with specific themes and in unique locations. We research the theme or era of the event in order to recreate original menu items. From the 215th wedding anniversary of James and Dolly Madison, to a recreation of the last meal on the Titanic, we enjoy creating both the flavors and presentation of the time.

| When Belle Grove decided to celebrate James and Dolly Madison's 215th Wedding Anniversary, (which they spent at Belle Grove in 1794, the home of Dolly Madison's sister Nelly), we created a custom menu of items found in the Belle Grove records and items popular in that era. We combined locally and seasonally available ingredients of the time.
The Gala Anniversary Menu:

Shaffer's has catered several events at Historic Long Branch in Millwood, Virginia. For the annual balloon festival sponsor reception we created a heavy hors d'oeuvre menu with an emphasis on local ingredients.

| Vending at North Mountain Vineyard |
|
| Shaffer's was honored to provide vending for North Mountain Vineyard's Annual Oktoberfest. Patrons enjoyed Bratwurst with German Mustard, Sauteed Cabbage and Apples, Sauerkraut, Spiced Baked Apples, and Warm German Potato Salad. For Dessert there was a choice of homemade Pecan or Apple Pie. Shaffer's also features locally made Rt. 11 chips on the vending menu. We had a great time decorating for the Fall theme.
